Tybee Island planning to bring fireworks back for Fourth of July
TYBEE ISLAND, Ga. (WTOC) - Tybee Island is planning to celebrate the Fourth of July with a bang.
The City of Tybee has received a Letter of Permission from the Georgia Department of Natural Resources for a fireworks display on July 4th, according to a release from DNR.
The Letter includes the creation of “fireworks safety zones” during the event, to be held in the South Beach area of the island.
