SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) -High pressure will give us a very nice day with sunshine and temps in 60s. Clouds increase overnight and Saturday ahead of our next rain chance. Things get interesting Sunday and it’s a First Alert WX Day! Low pressure will move out of the rockies and pick up lots of moisture from the Gulf of Mexico late Saturday. The low will pass just west of our area Sunday with our next rain chance. Computer models are forecasting lots of rain with a chance for thunderstorms. The best chance for rain will be late Saturday into Sunday morning into early afternoon. As the low pulls away and the cold front swings through Sunday afternoon our rain chances quickly end from south to north. Winds increase and may gust over 30mph Sunday. Much colder air arrives Sunday night into Monday with highs in the 50s and lows in the 30s. Skies remain sunny Monday into Wednesday with our next cold front and rain chance Thursday.

Saturday will be mostly cloudy with a 20% chance for showers late, highs in the low 60s.
