Richmond Hill holding first ever Winter Wonderland Festival, tree lighting ceremony

RICHMOND HILL, Ga. (WTOC) - Richmond Hill will be holding their first ever tree lighting ceremony on Saturday.

The Inaugural Winter Wonderland Festival and Tree Lighting Ceremony will take place in J.F. Gregory Park directly after the Christmas parade.

The Winter Wonderland Festival will include a holiday market, food trucks, train rides, a gingerbread decorating contest, and a visit from Santa Claus. A planned snow play area for the kids has been removed from the Festival and we will be scheduled as a pop up Snow Day during Christmas vacation for children. More details will be announced soon.

The holiday market will be open from noon to 6 p.m. with festival hours from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. The Tree Lighting Ceremony is scheduled to start at 6 p.m.

The Christmas Parade will be held Saturday morning at 10 a.m.
